| Multi-enzyme
systems for animal feeds
Mode
of Action:
Monogastric digestion of feed is achieved mainly through NATURAL
enzymatication within the alimentary tract. Enzymes are proteins,
which assist in the breakdown of various nutrients within feeds
into their basic units in order to absorb them into the body. These
units may then be used for growth and vital body functions.
Animals and birds produce many major enzymes naturally within their
own body, which can cope with most of the constituents of their
diets.
However, feeds always contain fractions which cannot be adequately
digested by monogastrics as they lack the necessary enzyme type
with which to do this.
Optizyme products are blends of enzymes, designed to supplement
the body's natural system with enzyme activities not normally present
or found only at sub-optimal levels.
Benefits:
Nutritional Efficiency
· Maximize digestion of the total feed.
· Improve performance and feed efficiency.
· Enhance digestibility of poorer quality feed ingredients.
· Reduce feed costs.
· Cleaner eggs, cleaner animals.
· Achieve more cost-effective performance.
Welfare
& Environment:
· Reduce quantity of excreta.
· Reduce moisture content of excreta.
· Reduce environmental impact of animals.
· Improve litter conditions.
Components:
Feed enzymes of fungal or bacterial origin. The various Optizyme
products are tailored to suit individual circumstances, specific
formulations being dependent on the types and proportions of feed
raw materials being used.
Application
(typically):
Optizyme powders: 0.5-1.0 Kg/t of feed.
Optizyme liquids: 140-450 ml/t of feed.
Packing:
Powders: 25 Kg. Bags or drums.
Liquids: 25, 200, 1000 litre containers.
